AL PARI AGRO · Programme

Sell agricultural products in Ukraine — with additional income

Where the market stops, we buy.

AL PARI AGRO buys batches of agricultural products worth $1M or more.

from 12%

a year — additional income for deferred payment. The yield is agreed individually.

Currency peg

Payments under the contract are pegged to a currency equivalent.

from 60 days

settlement period for the products

up to 20%

initial payment on contracts from $2M. Terms for large contracts are agreed individually.

Market situation

Exporting is getting harder. Storing products costs money

The programme lets you sell the goods now with the price fixed, pass product and logistics risks to the buyer and earn additional income for the payment deferral period.

Problem

Everyone is waiting for a buyer and an acceptable price

You don’t have to do this.

AL PARI GROUP solution

Sell the batch of goods at the market price and earn additional income for deferred payment.

Problem

Products sit in storage — costs keep rising

Every month of storage cuts your profit.

AL PARI GROUP solution

Once the products are transferred, storage and sale are our job.

Problem

You need money for the season

Running costs can’t wait.

AL PARI GROUP solution

We agree the size of the initial payment and help with bank financing so you get money sooner.

Subject to bank approval
Problem

A large batch is hard to sell to a single buyer

Several buyers — different prices, payment terms and delivery conditions.

AL PARI GROUP solution

We buy large batches of products on agreed terms. One buyer, one price and a clear payment schedule.

How the deal works

We buy your products at the market price with additional income on deferred-payment terms

We agree the payment schedule and the exact yield individually. Payment is secured by a mortgage on our own commercial real estate. We will calculate payment amounts and dates for your batch of agricultural products.

  1. Stage 1

    Batch transfer

You transfer the agreed batch. The price is fixed in the contract. Once ownership passes, product and logistics risks pass to the buyer.

  2. Stage 2

    Deferral period

Settlement takes 60 days or more. For the deferral period, additional income is accrued on the unpaid value of the products. Payments under the contract are pegged to a currency equivalent.

  3. Stage 3 · Additional option

    Money before final settlement

You can receive part of the money earlier — as an initial payment when the products are transferred and through bank financing on agreed terms.

  4. Stage 4

    Final settlement

By the date set in the contract the buyer pays the remaining value of the batch and the agreed additional income.

Mortgage security
Mortgage drawn up and registered Batch transferred

We draw up and register a mortgage on commercial real estate, and you transfer the batch of goods at the same time.

Deal example

How much you receive, and when

Illustrative example: market value of the batch UAH 100M, payment deferral — 6 months, additional income — 12% a year.

Sale at the market price today

UAH 100M Now

Sale under the AL PARI AGRO programme

UAH 106M In 6 months

Additional income — UAH 6M over 6 months

Advantage for large batches

Large volume — sell without a discount to the price

When a large batch with a market value of UAH 100M is sold, the buyer may demand a discount, reducing the actual selling price.

AL PARI AGRO buys this batch at the full market price — UAH 100M, with no volume discount. Over the 6-month deferral you receive an additional UAH 6M of income — UAH 106M in total.

Keep the full market value of your products. Earn more from selling them.

Important

The yield and payment schedule are agreed individually. Payments are pegged to a currency equivalent. In the example the amounts are given at an unchanged exchange rate and with no initial payment.

Which pays more over six months: deferred payment or storage

UAH 9M

The difference in this example, over 6 months, in favour of the programme.

+9%

With these costs, the price after storage would have to rise by more than 9% to beat the programme’s UAH 106M. At exactly 9% the results are equal: 109 − 3 = 106. This is the scenario’s break-even point, not a price forecast. With cheaper storage the threshold is lower.

6 months; no advance or loan; the future sale price does not change; 12% a year is the example’s term. Storage costs: 0.5% of the batch value a month, UAH 3M over 6 months. Rate and volume are illustrative, not a market quote. Taxes and other costs are not included. In the programme scenario the buyer bears the storage costs.

Payment security

A mortgage is not a way of paying, but it creates reliable, protected security

Coverage ratio

coverage of the obligation in our examples

Payments under the programme are secured by commercial real estate.

Property check

You check the property in advance — documents, value and sufficiency of the security — before the deal.

Legal protection

We secure the payment obligation by registering the mortgage at the same time as the products are transferred.

Protection against non-payment

If force majeure prevents the buyer from paying, the seller is protected by the mortgage: the contract provides for out-of-court enforcement in the seller’s favour, by selling the property or taking ownership of it against the debt.

  1. Buyer fails to meet the obligation
  2. Out-of-court enforcement
  3. Sale of the property Ownership of the property
  4. Funds applied to the debt

Under the terms of the contract and following the procedure set by law.
